The year 2025 marks the third year of collaboration between the Sociology Education Department of FISIP UNY and the Centre of Pedagogical Research and Innovation (CoPRI) at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Malaysia. In the first year, the partnership began with meetings and discussions to plan future collaborations. In 2024, the cooperation materialized in two key activities. The first was a Visiting Lecturer program, where two lecturers from CoPRI conducted sessions with students in the Sociology Education Department at UNY.

Tim Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) Berbasis Riset Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (FISIP) Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) telah melakukan “Pendampingan Implementasi Layanan Digital Untuk Meningkatkan Efisiensi Pengelolaan Bank Sampah di Kelurahan Cokrodiningratan, Kemantren Jetis, Yogyakarta” pada hari Jumat (29/8/2025).

Dalam upaya memperkuat kerja sama internasional di bidang pendidikan dan ilmu sosial, dua perguruan tinggi ternama di Thailand, yakni Srinakharinwirot University (SWU) yang berlokasi di Bangkok dan Khon Kaen University yang merupakan salah satu universitas riset terkemuka di kawasan timur laut Thailand, menghadirkan Amika Wardana, Ph.D., dosen Program Studi Pendidikan Sosiologi, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (FISIP), Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), sebagai pembicara tamu (guest lecture) dalam forum akademik yang berlangsung pada 19-21 Agustus 2025.

The Tourism Study Program within the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Yogyakarta State University (UNY) hosted the 2025 Cultural Exchange Program between Naresuan University International College (NUIC) and Yogyakarta State University (UNY). The event took place from July 12 to 19, 2025, in Phitsanulok, Thailand.
